Loneliness comes in many forms
Loneliness can affect your mental health leading to problems such as low mood, depression, substance misuse and increased stress. Their are many reasons a person experiences loneliness, often a change in circumstances can initiate those feelings, bereavement, retirement, relationship ends, new parent, new job, new school, moving to a new area to name but a few.
Loneliness is a sign that things need to change!!
Make that first step!!
Reach out to someone
Join a group/club that interests you
Stay connected/Maintain important relationships
Volunteer
Limit social media
You are not alone, most people feel lonely sometime in their lives.
